The basics of Reiki therapy

Reiki teaching is a spiritual practice that was developed by Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui in 1922. Later it gained popularity and is used by teachers throughout in the world for various reasons. Palm healing or hands-on-healing are two famous techniques used under this therapy to transfer the energy between bodies (believed).

According to the professional of Reiki Melbourne, it could be classified into two types: Traditional Japanese Reiki and Western Reiki. There is difference in both therapies with respect to implementation. The main difference counts is the usage of the hands; the Westernized forms use arranged hand-placements rather than relying on an intuitive sense of hand-positions which is commonly used by Japanese Reiki branches.

There are three levels to use it i.e. first level, second level and third level; also popular as three tier hierarchy. It is purely a hypothetical therapy which is used as a medical treatment. Even though science will not accept Reiki as a main stream, but the fact is that many people try and opt for it which is proof that it cannot be ignored and is here to stay.

There are different names of this therapy in different regions. In the western Reiki, there are seven chakras used through the positions of hands. These seven chakras are as follows:

The Crown Chakra
The Third Eye Chakra
The Throat Chakra
The Heart Chakra
The Solar Plexus Chakra
The Sacral Chakra
The Base/ Root Chakra

This is a great way to enhance energy levels. Also, it is a great way to boost your confidence. There are many health related benefits associated with this therapy. So, are you ready to look deeper into it?
